UME Parents and Students,
The Halloween Parade will be Tuesday, October 31st at 2:45pm. Students will parade through the school for all of the students to see each other's costumes. We will make one lap around the outside of the school where friends and family can watch and take pictures. We will have designated areas taped off on the playground blacktop or you can stand behind the fence in front of the school. If the weather does not cooperate we will invite all parents into our gym where students will parade through the gym, rather than outside. Parents do NOT need to check in at the office.
If you plan on checking out your child after the parade please come through the front doors. We will direct you to your child’s classroom. You will sign them out at the classroom, not the office.
Students are encouraged to show off their costumes all day and during the parade. Please have them come to school dressed in costume if they would like. Students can have face paint on all day. However, gory face paint is not appropriate for school. Masks and props (toy swords, toy knives, wands, etc.) are allowed during the parade only. Toy guns are NOT allowed at school.
